May 31, 2020
Planning is underway for in-person, drive-in, weather permitting, worship on Pentecost Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 a.m.
As the picture above says:
1. Persons are asked to literally stay in their cars.
2. Bring and plan to wear a mask for the duration of the service (other than times where you consume something).
3. If you are on the fence about coming for any reason, please stay home. There will
be a live-stream available during the service and available after the fact on our
church Facebook page, and the service will be made available on our various other
methods of distribution thereafter.
Gentle Reminder: The building will be unavailable for restrooms or any other potential reasons for entry.
This is not going to be perfect. This will not be the way things were.
There is risk in every decision and action. This is a prayerful attempt to have a meaningful time of worship together, utilizing some of our contextual strengths and resources, while at the same mitigating risk to the best of our ability. Don't compound risk to your neighbor willfully or due to negligence. Be vigilant. Be compassionate.
Lutheran Disaster Response
Join us in prayer and partnership, and to help spread the word.
Lutheran Disaster Response brings God’s hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters in the United States and around the world. When the dust settles and the headlines change, we stay to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.
Gifts are used entirely (100%) to assist those affected until the response is complete. Together, we can support those who are on the long road to recovery.
